Our Team of Experts

Rande Lavallee- Owner/ Accountant 

Rande graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with a certificate in Human Resources Management. Rande worked alongside Lorraine Darling, CPA for 25 years gaining extensive experiencing in both personal and corporate tax preparation, tax planning, and bookkeeping. Upon Lorraine’s retirement Rande acquired the practice.  When she is not working, she is spending time with her family or roaming the North Maine Woods, as she is also a Registered Maine Guide. 

Julie Wallace- Accountant 

Along with long time ownership of Sunset Farm’s Greenhouse, Julie has also been working in our office for 12 years.  She is responsible for all trust and estate filings. When not busy working, she is spending time with her family including children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! Camping, hunting, and swimming are a few of the many family activities they enjoy.

Samantha Thibeault- Accountant

While working as a full-time accountant, Sam and her husband, Andrew, also own Red Door Sugar Shack, making delicious Maple Syrup. Sam and her husband have 3 children, 3 dogs, 3 goats, chickens, and ducks.  Along with tending to her small farm, Sam enjoys camping, hunting, and all things outdoors. 

Jill Goldsmith- Accountant 

Jill has been with the practice since 2019. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, M.S. in Organizational Leadership and a M.B.A.  Prior to joining Lavallee & Associates, LLC she primarily held roles in operations management and customer service. Jill enjoys traveling, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, 2 children, and Wheaten Terrier, Pepper. 

Lisa Cushman- Office Coordination

Lisa started at our office in January of 2019, after retiring from a career in education. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs at the family camp.

Cheryl Thibeault- Office Assistant 

Cheryl joined our team in February of 2020. She has a background in customer service and truly enjoys helping clients to make their tax filing experience as easy as possible. When not working, Cheryl enjoys hiking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
